A presumed developer from Google posted a message on the Jabber Developer’s mailing list stating that Google will indeed (and as expected) open XMPP’s S2S feature claiming that they are still finishing the code for it and will first test it with a closed list of partners. No estimate date was announce for the public availability. Assuming it’s true, it’s good news.
On related news this whole Google Talk S2S thing started a huge thread regarding SPIM on both the jdev list and the JSF’s Standards-JIG list and anti-SPIM proto JEPs are popping up as we speak.
